Default Not Good - Off Work With Stress!

Alright Guys,

This mornin it all came crashing down, the stress, the jobs i get sent on not knowing what to do.

Went to the doctors and she has signed me off with extreme stress for 2 weeks saying i was on the verge of a breakdown or worse... heart attack or stroke.

So, this goes to say, don't bottle up your stress.... let it out....

Nick.

dude, i know how you feel, but your doctor is right let it out. Go running, excercise, get laid, smoke a "J", but nothing is more important than relaxing. I just recieved my hospital bill for my kidney stones, basically it'll be $3k out of pocket (****ty insurance), but three grand isn't worth a panic/ stress attack.
Enjoy living, you get one shot at it, drive the TI fast with some good tunes, feel the road with all the windows open.
I'm going to Vegas next week, screw it! Life tends to get more obsurd when you worry about it more.
Learn to chill, these next two weeks are yours to enjoy.
Matt

damn d00d! watch "office space," it'll make you feel better. the british comedy "the office" may have the opposite effect :P actually, it's pretty damn entertaining.

everyone needs an outlet for stress. which reminds me, i need to get my weight equipment reassembled after the move. if you can use something positive to relieve your stress, that's certainly the best.

take it easy and i hope you feel better!

I've found that Europeans have a more relaxed attitude about working, and us Americans are considered the work-aholics. I believe in taking 5 weeks of holiday, work is just the means to an end.
I where you, go to Amsterdam for a week, go to the Bulldog Cafe', buy some Northern Lights, or the Afgan Hash and shut the engines down. Or take a train down to Southern France, Antitebes is an easy place to unwind.
As far as thejob is concerned, they'll sack you if they want, but chances are they don't have enough competent people, but in the meantime your boss will be an unbearable cunt.

Track time does me wonders for stress. I am actually quite relaxed when I am away at the track for a weekend.

After working with people all day, I find that going to the gym helps me maintain my sanity....And if you are really feeling pissed, beat the sh*t out of the punching bag, that seems to work for me at least.

inspection 1 probably isn't deadly to put off for a bit if you needed to. do you have space and tools to work on your car yourself?

i need to do my O2 sensors and microfilters too! uncanny also getting a new shift knob, need to do air filter and some other more routine stuff too. still need to unbox and put up my peg board in the garage so i can find tools though! lol oh yeah, also need to tighten up the g-damn cat heat shield again too so i stop making these obnoxious noises that cause people to look at me like my car has serious problems

you'd be surprised how tough the outside of those bags is ... unless you're using a knife, gun or possibly a chainsaw on it
