Default Bonnet gas struts

My bonnet gas struts have given up the goast and won't keep the bonnet open, are they rechargable or repairable or do i need 2 new ones?

they are definatly cheaper than hatch struts.. and should be the same struts across the E36 board

They're different with sedan/coupes. You'll need the sedan ones.
