Default P0325 Knock sensor

My recently acquired 1996 M44, 5 speed had CEL code for the rear knock sensor code. I had replaced the knock sensors, but the code kept coming back. Ran like this for about two months, but never pushed the car to actually see if the car had pre-iginition. One day the fuel pump died and after replacing the fuel pump I had cleared the CEL and the CEL did not come back. I am guessing that a weak and dying fuel pump caused the CEL code P0325. Hope this helps someone.

Default SERIOUSLY?!

dude, that's awesome! I've been chasing my tail with a P0325 for a good 6 months. cleaned connections, replaced the pair with a known good pair, replaced that pair with new pair, updated the DME's software to the latest, and was wondering if I was gonna need a new bbbrain. I'll just change the fuel pump out with a new (better if I can find it) unit and hopefully that'll help at least. (way easier than yarding out the knock sensors again or finding a suitable DME) thanks for the new direction!!!
