Also, the interior is not directly interchangeable, either. You could swap front seats with no modification, but the panels, rear seats, dash, etc. would require minor to major modifications to work... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Same with Hail damage and any rollover. Or if its a heavy enough to deploy air bags its likely the car will get totaled even if the damage if nothing. Australia never got the E36 M3 sedan, but one of my previous E36 sedans got fitted with the full M3 kit | | | 11-16-2009, 11:20 AM | #12 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Gilbert Posts: 621 | think we have already covered that. __________________ *IF ITS FAST AND CHEAP, ITS NOT RELIABLE* *IF ITS CHEAP AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT FAST* *IF ITS FAST AND RELIABLE, ITS NOT CHEAP* | | | 12-06-2009, 04:08 AM | #13 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2009 Location: winder ,ga Posts: 12 | so the side can be from a sedan or coupe that will fit my ti | | | 12-06-2009, 06:40 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: mbsc Posts: 570 | yes, i have been told that the wheelbase of the 2dr and 4 dr is the same on the M3/E36. | | | 12-18-2009, 01:55 AM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2009 Location: mbsc Posts: 570 | another question guys.. was poking around today and talking to the neighbors. both BMWs in the driveway, the 95 ti and the 97 318i 4dr, and we were comparing them. I'm just wondering how the sedan mirrors are the proper ones for the ti if the door is actually 6" longer than the sedan's. If I ever need to replace a door on the ti, is it ti specific or is it a coupe door? the first ti i was looking to buy the owner told me he had a door for it to replace the damaged one on the car at the time. the replacement door was from a sedan.. :/ gonna be a hard time for him. i know from all the discussion ecently on here about hoods that the sedan hood is the same as the ti.. fenders and all i'd assume as well.. the 318i needs a l/f fender and a hood. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
