The service manual I have says I have to go to a dealer if my vehicle has AST. The stability control button on my 1996 318ti says ASC, so does that mean I am good to go with bleeding the brakes myself? | | | 08-05-2020, 01:18 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jan 2010 Location: Horseheads, NY Posts: 259 | Yes you can bleed them yourself. A power (pressure) bleeder is a great help. Remember to work from the caliper farthest away from the reservoir and work your way back to the closest caliper, so it would go RR, LR, RF, LF. | | | 08-05-2020, 02:27 PM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Jun 2020 Location: Plano, TX Posts: 10 | Perfect, thanks for the help! | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
