Unhappy Fuel system question

Ever since I have replaced my fuel pump my OBC has not read correctly. Sometimes it fluctuates reading low and then high, even when I am running low and want to know how much fuel I have left before going to the gas station it does not give me the correct reading. Is it the sender thats going out or do I need a fuel system cleaner, new filters or what?

Do you mean the gas gauge which works off a float on the fuel pump? I am not sure how the OBC calculates the mileage left, and the MPG, but would love to know.
