Im telling my dad to forget about the cayman and save for a 335 TT. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | 05-01-2006, 09:00 PM | #12 | Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Location: Calgary, Alberta Posts: 89 | 335i The new 3.0 litre inline twin turbo 6 will be good for just over 300hp. It also has direct injection. The reviews I have heard about the engine are really good. It will be available first in the new coupe and will be labled the 335i | | | 05-02-2006, 08:09 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2005 Location: Virginia Posts: 247 | I saw quite a few 1 series when I was in Germany... in my opinion they look like the Batmobile crossed with a turd... but to each his own. It will be in the 400+ range. I have seen 400-425 hp. I think the 335 had around 300, but I may be wrong. As for saving for the cayman. I would say that is difference in what he wants. More luxury car or sports coupe/hatch. Either way all I have to say is I would go for the Z4M coupe. | | | 04-28-2006, 11:35 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2005 Location: Quad Cities, Iowa Posts: 2,110 | Quote: Originally Posted by AlaskaBlue The M3 will have a v-8 varaint of the M5 v-10 engine. The cayman is a porsche and its sweet but the 330ci can be used as a daily driver. I hated the body style of the new 3 coupe (and still kinda do) but the 3.5 tt sounds awsome. I personally think that they need to keep the 3 series true to the original and keep it a square-er performance car and develope a new series for their luxury car. I cant really see the E90 fitting in with the other 3s. __________________ "Drive Fast and Take Chances" | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
