Hello everyone! I'm new to this forum although I can't say that I'm a newbie when it comes to 318ti's. I'm on to my third one; my last two were both '95 active models, the one I'm driving now is a '98 m-tech I picked up in Akron, OH. So far I've installed a Stromung exhaust and adjustable K-sport coilovers....haven't gotten around to putting halos back in, and I'm hoping to do a M52 or S52 swap eventually. I live in Pittsburgh, PA....and I've only come across a few local TI's in the past 5 years or so....I've been in love with them since my first one! Here's a pic of my current one http://www.flickr.com/photos/94522209@N05/ Looking forward to being on this forum! | | | 04-01-2013, 01:49 AM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Ft Defiance, AZ Posts: 686 | Welcome to the org. your car looks great, I'm sure we'd all love to see more pics!! __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti 2005 MINI Cooper S | | | 04-01-2013, 01:53 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Nice car. The only ti's I've seen here were just in passing, and usually spotted from across the highways ....northern VA, close enough! I'm hoping to get my car ready by summer for some car meets | | | 04-20-2013, 04:35 AM | #10 | Member Join Date: Jan 2013 Location: Alexandria, VA Posts: 45 | Still up for it?? I'm jealous you have a 5-speed. Are there any other active members in teh 'burgh? I just rejoined the site to learn more about these cars. I don't have a 318Ti yet, BTW. I'm considering a '97 automatic though. While I'm a stranger to the Ti, I've had a lot of earlier BMWs...mainly E30s. My DD is virtually the same car in an earlier guise...a Brilliant Red '91 318i sedan. Similar weight, similar suspension, more convenience! | | | 04-02-2013, 04:28 AM | #12 | Junior Member Join Date: Apr 2013 Location: Northern California Posts: 13 | Welcome! | | | 04-02-2013, 05:49 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Roanoke, VA Posts: 472 | Welcome! | | | 04-03-2013, 02:05 AM | #14 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2011 Location: Michigan Posts: 183 | I like the color! | | | 04-03-2013, 02:36 AM | #15 | Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: US Posts: 46 | Welcome!
