The FX1 Pro combines comfort, performance, and safety at an absolutely unbeatable price. Designed with an emphasis on comfort, this seat is one of the most comfortable race seats you will ever sit in. If you enjoy racing and want a practical and affordable shell seat, the FX1 Pro is a hard one to pass on. As a rule of thumb, the FX1 Pro racing seat will fit up to a 36 inch waist, High wear patches are strategically placed to protect your seat from abuse in the high wear areas. The FX1 Pro racing seat is available in cloth fabric with leatherette high wear patches or black microsuede with leather high wear patches. 16lbs Bolster Support: Ultimate lateral support with well-defined thigh, kidney, and shoulder bolsters will allow both the driver and passenger to remain in the optimal seating position. The reduction of body shifting will reduce the amount of driver fatigue and enhance the overall driving experience. Seat Back Brace: This seat is equipped with a bolt on the back giving it the ability to be bolted to a seat back brace. Harness Capability: This seat has harness slots for 3, 4 and 5-point harness capability. A submarine slot is already installed for a 5th strap. Fabric: Anti-slip cloth materials and microsuede fabrics, coupled with anti-wear patches. Contains UV inhibitors. This seat has been extensively tested under extreme conditions and found to be colorfast. Aluminum Side Mounts: This seat can be bottom mounted or side mounted. Aluminum side mounts are available which allow the seat to be bolted right to the floor. Fiberglass Shell: Fiberglass composite shell with a black gel coat. It wasn't the most comfortable seat in the world and the fabric wore fairly quickly (related to how I had to get into the car). It was easy enough to recover. | | | 07-09-2010, 06:57 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | yeah people say that the FX1 has better material, im pretty sure im going with the FX1 PRO __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 07-10-2010, 02:04 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2007 Location: Gulfport, Florida Posts: 3,208 | Good choice on going with aftermarket seats. Weight reduction at it's finest. Sunroof? Very heavy and can be filled with a 2 pound carbon | | | 07-10-2010, 05:58 AM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Auburn, WA Posts: 1,814 | yeah i know but im gonna do that later on, can u show me some pics of urs and how is attatched on the bottom, and if u have any trouble like leaks or something like that __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO | | | 07-13-2010, 04:57 PM | #8 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Saybrook, CT Posts: 23 | Have the fx1 pro. Love them. I suggest side mounts over sliders as the side mounts make the seat much stiffer, less side to side flex David __________________ 1995 330Ti s50b30- ebay ss headers- custom exhaust- UUC engine mounts- Turner front subframe reinforcements- 95 M3 steering rack- M3 front brakes, floating rotors, porterfield r4-s pads-Borbet rims with Bridgestone reo50a 225/45/17- x-brace- M Coupe 3.15 diff- Euro 3 spoke non-airbag steering wheel- Corbeau Fx-1 front seats- Schroth 5 point harnesses- Bavarian Autosport suspension- H&R front sway bar- M coupe rear sway bar- Turner rear sway bar tab reinforcement- Powerflex Black Subframe and Trailing arm bushings | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
