But these are Style 5's from an e39. Do you think they will rub a little? See for yourself... The tires that came with them are 245/45/17's... Um, just a little too big... I knew there wasn't a chance in H.E.Double.Hockeysticks that they would fit, but I threw them on for giggles, kicks, and pics. However the tires are literally new (still have the little nubs...), so I want to get some use out of them before I buy some stretched rubber and a fender roller... So, I mounted them on the coupe which still has a factory suspension (no drop); And, presto, no rubbing! (kinda sorta, if you don't count speed bumps or pot-holes.) __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. And that is what I am going to have to do... Took the coupe on the freeway to Berkeley to an artist's opening tonight and with a passenger, there was some serious rubbing on the back fenders These tires are 245/45/17's. So, the search is on for a decent smaller tire and a fender roller... might as well do both, just to be safe... Angel, what size tire did you end up using? __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. Even though I could have kept the tires mine had since my fenders are SERIOUSLY ROLLED. | | | 03-13-2009, 06:32 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Memphis, Tn Posts: 1,299 | Look really good. I like them on the M3. I need to get me some new headlights like yours. Mine are still stock. Ugh And I need that lip on my front bumper as well. Haha. The rims on the coupe give me a real old school thrill... takes me back to my old Mopar days... I had a 1967 Barracuda with centerlines and a dropped front.
