The search function on that app really needs re-working. I downloaded the app early this morning and searched for "BMW" and it said there were no matches. I also tried "318" and got no matches. So ... I deleted the app. After reading the above announcement, I reinstalled it to try the search again. "318ti" and "318ti.org" will let you find the forum. When I added it to tapatalk I could not find it at all. It did show up in Just In. I removed it and added it again. You need a minimum of 5 character. Still not finding another site I added. They just need to have a keyword search and that could prove very useful. I'm having my son look into building an app with some frequently needed info so I don't need to keep searching online for it. Where I live, AT&T doesn't have good coverage, so often I can't even search for stuff ... I have to have it native. | | | 02-21-2010, 07:32 PM | #5 | | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 2,635 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti Tapatalk has been installed. ** Blackberry by early February! Even though i have gone on this site via my android and i personally think that the browsing speed is pretty quick, i went ahead and downloaded the free version of tapatalk and just kinda played with it a little. seems pretty cool to me. i think i'd still use my browser though... __________________ It's true that we don't know what we've got until we lose it, but it's also true that we don't know what we've been missing until it arrives. | | | 03-01-2010, 11:34 PM | #8 | | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Long Beach, SoCal Posts: 373 | Quote: Originally Posted by wolferj Subscribed in anticipation of BlackBerry! I will probably end up buying Tapatalk. For what it is, it's pretty good. I don't know what people expect. | | | 02-25-2010, 03:31 AM | #11 | | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: VIRGINIA Posts: 326 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti For what it is, it's pretty good. Tapatalk doesn't seem to have push notification (unless I missed it) ... that feature could make it more useful. | | | 06-17-2010, 03:18 AM | #12 | | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 2,635 | Change that to -1 for Blackberry... Tempted to upgrade from the hero...lol. As mentioned...it is a big phone. Not really a slim one but I think I could live with it. Hope it has better battery life than the Hero. Any comment on that James? My phone is my only computer so the size would be a nice feature for browsing. Oh...dare I .. __________________ | | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Hybrid Mode | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
