Airbags and SRS system questions....

I have a 99 ti with a blown passenger door air bag

Codes are:

25 - passenger seat occupancy sensor
5 - firing circuit driver pretensioner
17 - passenger seat belt switch
17 - passenger seat belt switch
9 - firing circuit right side airbag
1 - ecu internal fault

now obviously i need a new air bag for the passenger door, possibly a passenger seat occupancy sensor, and passenger seat belt switch in the belt buckle i assume, so new buckle assembly to start with and a new air bag and see what codes go away, since some codes can be related to each other.

Now the question, some say the ecu needs to just be reprogrammed, and other say it cannot be reprogrammed so has to be replaced, has anyone done work on the SRS system in the 3 series?

also where is the driver pretensioner located?
