CAR IS SOLD
It's come time to sell my ti, it's been a fantastic car since I bought it in 2008 and this site has been an invaluable resource.
I bought the car in 2008 with 137,000 miles on it. Have driven it since then and have tons of maintenance records for everything I've done. The engine swap happened in 2016 using a M52B28 from an E36 328i, my build thread was documented on here.
Swap build thread link:
http://www.318ti.org/forum/showthread.php?t=42351 In the past few years I've had other cars to daily so I've driven the ti mostly just to autocrosses, track days, and other random trips. The car is set up to be track/autox focused but still able to daily. It is a stiff ride but handles like a big go-kart and with the cams/M50 manifold pulls very hard up to 7000rpm. As I've driven it over the years, I've found the car to be very easy on consumables (tires/pads/bushings) most of the work I've done is just for preventative maintenance. I never had any failures or incidents on track and the car has never been in an accident on the street.
I can send the maintenance record file if you're interested.
