It is polished aluminum and hinged. I've had in my car since July of this year. It is in very good condition. Looking to get $100 shipped. Here the blurb from their website: Cosmo Racing Strut Tower Bar reduce front end flexing and improve chassis stability whether you are doing hardcore cornering on the track or simply cruising on the streets! DESIGN & CONSTRUCTION Our tower bars incorporate original racing designs, making them extremely solid and stable. At Cosmo Racing, we take performance seriously and don't settle for the type of candy strut bars that provide only minimal handling improvements. Constructed from aircraft grade T6061 lightweight billet aluminum, the tower strut tower bars have a high quality Chrome/Anodized harden finishing that make them more scratch resistant than polished aluminum. INSTALLATION DIFFICULTY: EASY Easy 5 minute installation! All strut tower bars are direct bolt-on without any modifications. __________________ 1997 332ti: 18" Gold BBS LM Repro wheels, 245/35/18 tires, H&R Sport springs, Bilstein Sport shocks, 328 front calipers w/ Brembo vented rotors, Brembo rear drilled rotors, X-brace, M3 front bumper, M3 mirrors, Euro clears all around, 6k HID, Black kidney grills, French fogs, Full Magnaflow exhaust w/ High flow cat, Auto - manual swap, B&M short shifter, 3.23 LSD, URI crank pulley, 3.2 OBDII engine swap, Kirk 4 point roll bar, Dove vaders. | | | 01-05-2008, 02:40 AM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: Watertown, Wisconsin Posts: 12 | 100 bucks shipped aye? let me think about it.. you may have yourself a sale... one question.. why is it for sale now? not a good enough improvement to the handling? ugly under the hood? thanks.. __________________ Mike Clark | | | 01-05-2008, 02:55 AM | #3 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Amboy, NJ Posts: 333 | Quote: Originally Posted by Richard Gizinya 100 bucks shipped aye? let me think about it.. you may have yourself a sale... one question.. why is it for sale now? not a good enough improvement to the handling? ugly under the hood? thanks.. | I had fitment issues once I got my S52 put in. This strut bar that is for sale is a good deal for $100.00 bucks, I might jump on it even though I'm getting a 4 point. Question to the seller, did you have ASC? If so did you have any fitment problems? | | | 01-06-2008, 03:34 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2005 Location: Amboy, NJ Posts: 333 | Quote: Originally Posted by lazoh Update on the 4 point, the guy is booked until the end of February and I need to know who will be getting it.
