I picked it up 10 days ago, and I already lowered it that inch that Steven was saying that it needed. I love my 'ti, but this car is really fun to drive. Break in is tortuous. I'm not doing too well. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | 04-04-2008, 12:13 PM | #24 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by larryn I loooove mine. Just go on long trips taking the back road. I'm hoping I can do a ED in Sept. That will be our 20th wedding anniversary. Funny, on 1 addicts they seem to feel they are the bastard stepchild in some ways just as the ti is. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 04-04-2008, 05:15 PM | #25 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2006 Location: Boston, MA Posts: 1,152 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I'm hoping I can do a ED in Sept. It goes with the territory for being the so called cheapest/lowest/intro BMW model. Well at least in the minds of the other bimmer owners. Wait til they get their butts kicked by one of those 135i then there will be some respect. Congrats again larryn. Make us proud in auto-x with the new 135i. | | | 04-04-2008, 05:22 PM | #26 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Eugene Oregon Posts: 6,182 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti A friend of mine did Performance Center Delivery and drove it home to Houston. Some go over the 1addicts just to cause punctuate the feeling. We're all in this together though, right? I got my Schroth harnesses in this morning, and my track wheels just barely fit the car with no rubbing. The thing looks NASCAR-ish with those meaties on it. I'm all set for some fun in a few weeks.
