Printed out buti's logo, and turned it into a stencil with a utility pencil knife. Got a little oil spill on the engine. The bastard who changed it couldn't careless that it was a Bimmer. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. And the wire is hooked up to my bi-colored angel eyes. And it connects to a flip switch that looks like the purge switch for NOS on Fast and Furious. I put on 1 of the blanks next to the ASC button. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Otherwise I would've done it myself. He didn't wipe it up. I didn't bother looking at it until a few weeks later. By then, the oil hardened up. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. And I didn't notice it until I started to. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. That's why i like doing my own oil change. Aren't you worried that the piant may come off because of the heat of the engine? | | | 11-12-2008, 05:36 AM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Quote: Originally Posted by elchicano318ti You get what you paid for. Had my car warm up completely at least 50 times since I've painted it. Though, I might go out and buy a sealant just to be safe. But I think dupi-color high performance is for engine components. It's says right on the can "paint automotive accessories". I read the fine print on the back, and it doesn't say anything about temperature. That being said, my dad has a few cans of regular dupi-color paint. On the back of them, it says not to use on anything that exceeds 200 degrees. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36. Citrus degreaser may work but it will take a while for the solvent to work. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 11-13-2008, 08:47 PM | #15 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Austin Posts: 3,059 | Here's the switch. I'll get around to cleaning up the super glue mess when I feel like it. I don't think any civics wanna race me after see that switch. Btw, my friend with the mustang always called me "tokyo", short for tokyo drift. I use to do dumb stunts all the time with my ricer sentra (cause it was a cheap car to begin with, and repairs were even cheaper.). Take a look at my gallery, with the album of my sentra. I no longer have it though. __________________ Come get a ti-shirt Quote: From the e30 M3, evolved the e36.
