I'm interested in wiper & turn signal switches but had issues with grabbing some from another model BMW. Would be interested in pictures of the plugs as a way to help confirm they'll work. I am planning on making the trip once I find out if more people are interested in anything else. I will keep you posted. Please make me an offer on them. | | | 12-27-2010, 04:50 PM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: united states Posts: 119 | The parts car is a 95. I was thinking those parts from the 98 steering column I have would be the same. I already have that column removed and it would be easier to pull from. | | | 12-27-2010, 05:15 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Denver Posts: 373 | Quote: Originally Posted by spykejones I was thinking those parts from the 98 steering column I have would be the same. | Unfortunately they are not the same. I pulled parts from a 96 locally and the royally messed up the whole lighting system. when I was trying to track down electrical gremlins, most was solved simply by unplugging the 96 wiper & blinker stalks. Weird I know! Not in a huge rush on the parts, so if it takes you a few days extra to get the 95 parts, it won't cause any problems on my end. It doesn't have door panels they were sold. I recently hit a deer and have been part hunting. The last place I called told me that my 98 fender was only identical to the 96-98 sedan fender, which concerns me. Are my fenders the same as this 95's fenders? What about the hoods? I'm worried I've been buying junkyard parts from older BMW sedans that won't fit my 98 ti when I start replacing them. Any help here? | | | 12-28-2010, 08:12 PM | #12 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by MyShadeOfGlory318ti I have a question about ti fenders, hoods and front ends. I don't have fenders on this parts car they are already gone.
