(The one you linked to and that I have installed is specifically made for the x305s) I ran the Alpine mike cord under the forward edge of the headliner and was intending to use a BMW factory mic in the panel that has the sunroof switch, but, there is no clearance for a second component (Mic) behind that panel as the sunroof motor is in the way. I modified a location near the drivers interior light switch to accomidate the supplied Alpine mic without looking goofy or out of place. I do like this x305s over the Alpine 9886 I have in the 95. The controls are more user intuitive and easy to operate without looking at the unit. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! Mine were replaced last week as well. My door lock actuator is also sticking due to low temps at night. I will have to replace that also. I think my new struts are from some American car, forgot which one. __________________ | | | 11-06-2012, 11:53 PM | #2742 | Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: Richmond, VA Posts: 78 | Yeah I need to get a set of struts front and rear. Or buy another snap-on hood prop. I think the struts are cheaper. | | | 11-07-2012, 12:06 AM | #2743 | Senior Member Join Date: Oct 2008 Location: Los Angeles, CA Posts: 1,464 | Quote: Originally Posted by 3.2TI 36c is like a regular day here.
