I checked my fuses and sure enough, one had blown. Now however, after replacing the fuse, the backlighting on my HVAC controls has stopped working. Has anyone else had this problem??? | | | 01-29-2007, 10:56 PM | #2 | Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Daphne, AL Posts: 72 | Same problem here. I tapped on the console with my hand and the lighting came back on. __________________ 1996 Ti 280k miles and still going.... 1993 964 - holding on to this one 2001 Burban, 240k miles 2018 Suburban Z71 | | | 02-12-2015, 01:59 PM | #4 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: MD Posts: 126 | There's a bulb just under the radio bezel that you can replace. It's been a while, but I believe you just have to pull out the radio and it's accessible. http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...99&hg=64&fg=20 Number 12. __________________ '96 318ti Base - few mods installed... | | | 02-12-2015, 04:30 PM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | Yeah, you can pull the bulb pretty easy. Most of them are blowing out. The bulb is not associated with the HVAC system, just your interior lights. __________________ Check out our new website! https://soltechsolutionsllc.com/ Green Your Decor with the Aspect!
