But it just hit me one day and I said " **** it lemme just try it out for a few days before I get my exhaust." So I did a resonator and muffler delete and this is how the car sounds like let me know what you guys think | | | 07-15-2015, 09:22 PM | #2 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2014 Location: Southern California Posts: 25 | that should piss off the neighbors sounds good to me tho | | | 07-15-2015, 09:36 PM | #3 | Member Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: Woodbridge Posts: 42 | Yeah it gets to raspy at high rpms. I'm getting a exhaust this weekend | | | 07-19-2015, 07:35 PM | #6 | Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Europe Posts: 32 | It's one of those things that you have to hear it for yourself to decide if you like it or not. It probably sounded good at first because it was your car and something different which I believe is normal. But sometimes feedback helps pit things into perspective. In the end, it's your car so do what you want with it. | | | 07-20-2015, 12:14 AM | #7 | Member Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: Woodbridge Posts: 42 | Yeah your right I was happy when I did it at first but no it's just annoying the thing is I took the resonator out too. What your opinion on a nice exhaust ? | | | 07-20-2015, 05:01 AM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: norcal - 94590 Posts: 3,186 | I recommend OE headers, mid-pipe with cat, and a SuperSprint (also sold as Racing Dynamics) cat-back. A Stromung is a great cat back as well... __________________ James 95 active w/leather interior and sport interior conversion, Vaders, full M-Tech exterior conversion. I don't think there is much point in modding a 318 cause there isn't power to be gained here. Maybe a motor swap or boosted, but nothing crazy from bolt ons. | | | 07-20-2015, 04:14 PM | #11 | Member Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: Woodbridge Posts: 42 | True yeah. I mean that's later on swapping lol I want to get little stuff before doing the big things lol | | | 07-20-2015, 04:19 PM | #12 | Member Join Date: Dec 2013 Location: Europe Posts: 32 | Mod once and do it right. Otherwise you will be buying parts twice. Just a tip......but do what you want. The mod but is strong and hard to control. I modded my last car, went full retard. At first I just threw parts at it and later on found myself buying similar parts to be compatible with the setup I wanted. I went through 5 turbos, 3 intakes, 3 exhausts, and multiple other things. It was fun but damn, I wish I would have done it right the first time. 700+whp doesn't come cheap | | | 07-20-2015, 04:38 PM | #15 | Member Join Date: Jun 2015 Location: Woodbridge Posts: 42 | Yeah true and yeah I know thanks for the advice I'm gunna take it lol but the thing I want to do is get that straight pipe out don't like the noise anymore lol | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
