Save my daily driver of 15 years from the wrecking yard, drive it or part it out yourself. $1500 obo. Needs power steering help to continue daily driving. Original steering rack or and pump. Front main seal leaks 1/2 to 1 quart every 5000 miles. Clutch is original, doesn't slip but at end of travel and very heavy. Lots of maintenance completed over its lifetime, lots of receipts. Some high time pricey items taken care of like rebuilt driveline, replaced catalytic converter, suspension components. Some maintenance due for 2nd round. Found and installed very rare and valuable 3.44 ratio small case E30 limited slip differential. OEM is small case open at 3.45 ratio. Has added/upgraded parts like X brace, glass depot lights, M3 mirrors, Bilstein sport stuts. Type 71 18" 2 piece stainless/alloy rims with good tires. Interior good except drivers seat side bolster. If i don't find a buyer within two weeks the car is going to be retired to a dismantler. I want to find someone to at least save the rare lsd differential. I can notify which dismantler it will be sent to. The car is currently posted on Craigslist San Diego. |
