It has been researched a few years ago by a member on here, if i recall he had all the parts and was going to do a custom job. But i think he had a problem with the bracket for it or something and could not get it installed. Yes i'm sure it can be done but i don't think it's worth the hassle. Exspecially for windows that don't stay open once you pass 45 mph.

What do you mean? Mine stay open until I close them, no matter what speed I'm going. Is it possible that your latches are not working properly and do not lock into the open position?

Once i open my rear windows they are locked open, even if you push on the outside they don't move. But as soon as i hit 45mph and start accelerating more they close in a maater of seconds. I never really open them cause-A they are in the back seat & B they have no use to me.

The ones on my 318is with cable drives and geared motors stay open to at least 60 mph.
