I don't like clear corners on my car. I like the old classic look.
I'm done with the car for now.

Phenomenal job, Phamster! I want to thank you for spending so much time catalogging the changes, and posting them here. Lots of props to you for doing what you did, and for sharing with us.

I don't blame you for taking a break from the car for a while.

Good job Phamster! This will inspire and help other members out! We should ask the mod to make this thread a sticky.

But you have clears in the back.

Regardless, your car looks great!
Congrats!

Thanks for the comments everyone, this weekend I will put a 3.45 diff in (of course I will post pictures of the process) so I can drive on the highway quicker now instead of 55-60mph.

3.45?

From a 318ti?

Doesn't sound like a good idea.

Not sure a ti small case diff will hold up over time with the increased torque. You might need to start looking for a E30 diff and half shafts.

Today I will change out my diff from a 4.44 to a 3.45 due to high RPMS on the highway.

Fill her up with Diff/gear oil and you're done!

After the test drive my RPMs went down about 1000K-1500K. No more 5k RPMs at 80mph....
