They had a few bad batches where they would fall apart very fast. But they should still be considered a wear item. Urethane for the Subframe bushings for the S52 TI. it does shake at low RPMs but at 800rpm,its smooth enough. Need to swap out the diff bushing before the season. Will prolly do the same for my AutoX Z3. Rubber is definitely more comfortable and is perfectly fine for the M44s. I suspect it would be fine for the S52 as well, since I set this up to be used as my track car, I renewed all with the firmer/solid bushings to get shifting and road feel solid. __________________ 1998 318ti Sport - "Cali" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, Cali top 1998 318ti Sport - "Max" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior, S52 1997 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Schwartz II/Schwartz sport interior 1995 318ti Active - "Blanca" Alpineweib III/Schwartz leather interior Other Current Bimmers: 2006 530i / 2000 2.3L Z3 / 1997 1.9L Z3 / 1999 540it 1997 318ti Sport - "Huera" - RIP 1995 318ti Active - RIP 1995 318ti Sport - "Tiny" Sold 1994 325i Sedan - "Jade" - Sold 1991 318ic - "Bert" - Sold 1985 635csi sold 1984 533i "Max" Sold 1984 318i sold BMWCCA #160411 SUPPORT 318ti.org! I do know they had a bad batch/s and basically everyone's crumbled. As for OP I still say grab some E46 M3 stock trans mounts, and if you don't like when they're worn out snag the Rogue Engineering ones or go to poly if you want a more "solid" feel. Rich - I can't imagine the delrin motor and trans mounts. Its like a big go Kart tho... goes exactly where I point it. Z3 rack too... Condor solid engine mounts, Gargastic solid tranny mounts, Powerflex Urethane rear subframe mounts, forgot Delrin trailing arm bushings, Delrin shifter bushings. It is definitely a solid and precise ride along with a Bride bucket seat so I don’t get thrown around. Does it pull the front tires off the ground at track events? Debating if I go the same route with an AutoX Z3 I am setting up. If I do, I’ll try out solid Aluminum engine and tranny mounts after a bit of subframe reinforcement.
