the same cost to repair mine after a similar incident was £450 plus panel and rear bumper. yours will be less, that panel can easily be beaten back out.

actually i would get a new rear arch for that, the arch lip is creased too much. i cant remember where i've seen them, ebay?, you can get rear arch's (not 1/4 panel) on their own, they're not a genuine part and they do the coupe aswell. i'll try and find them.

dude, that dont look too bad... you sure you need a new Q panel? it seems you may be able to get a good body shop to fix the existing one...

you may need a new plastic bumper cover, though..

E R mate, its not for the compact/coupe, but you could ask them when theyre getting some more in.

Thanks guys. I was able to pull the lip out a little bit, looks better now, but still needs to be replaced. The bumper will also need to be replaced. I have an appointment at noon today for an estimate, I'll post my estimate. This is what I found so far, doesn't look bad.

Looks like this should be a relatively inexpensive repair:

$165.17 for a rear quarter section and $279 for a rear bumper cover. Those are NEW costs through the dealership. I should be able to find the bumper much cheaper.

That's what I was thinking, the price difference is pretty huge between the standard and the Mtech. I might have to find a used one.

LKQ might have a used mtech.....

when you get an estimate, tell the bodyshop guy what you want. He may just throw that bumper on the estimate, but then I guess the adjuster has to ok it.
Maybe you could work a deal to cover part of it?
I'd say it'd be worth it....the front clips are pretty easy to find.
shoot go crazy- might as well find one of those too and have them sprayed at the same time....

(just watch out for assholes with trailor hitches)

I listened to the game at work. I was doing Daylight Savings Time upgrades (what a mess). Yeah Wisconsin's last two games have come down to the last seconds, which is always fun to watch. Did your bro go out downtown after the game? I bet it was wild (or more wild than usual!). Madison = #1 party town in the WORLD!

I'm doing the repairs myself. I'll figure out what I'm going to do for bumpers after I get my quote. I'm having the insurance adjuster do my estimate now, as I've heard that's the best way to do it.

You called yourself the drift king while you smacked into someone. That someone that got smacked into is called a douche? I dont know. As far as i know, if i see snow and the floor is slippery, ill drive slower and more cautious. But i dont know, thats just me.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Lol, after all of the crap we give Hugo for racing, he finally has some ammunition to defend himself with. Lol, you tell him Hugo. See what happens, Dusten was lucky nobody was injured, though he was probably going about 25mph when it happened.

I see drifter hit stuff all the time, I think it's part of the sport. The other driver's name was Douche.

He was 10% at fault for being there, per the insurance company.
