yeah, when i get it, ill be sure to let you know how big a mistake it was

the E36 Euro m3 is 3,15 ratio.. a 316 with a 3,07 ratio diff probably wont get out of 3rd

but ive gotta try !!

would an e30 lsd drop straight into a 318ti?
i know the ti shares some rear end with the E30's so would it work?

Yes, it does. As does Mcoupe/Z3 diffs.

Im using a 3.23 Mcoupe LSD out of a 2002 model with E30 axle/half shafts.

Make sure you get the E30 shafts.

even the e30 diffs over here aint that cheap, ur talking £300 for an e30 diff with over 170k miles!

£300... damn, thats like a million canadian dollars now... lol

probably more like $800, but still, thats expensive as sin!

I got my 2002 Mcoupe diff for under $350 shipped! but i got a smokin good deal!


Question, does your UK keyboard have a "£" for "shift 4" instead of a dollar sign? lol

"shift 3" is £(pound sign)
"shift 4" is $(dollar sign)

just simple curiousity I assume where's the pound (#) key then? it's on 3 on US keyboards
