That should be around $1000, give or take a few hundred dollars. | | | 06-16-2013, 10:06 PM | #20 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2010 Location: Scranton/Wilkes-barre area PA Posts: 454 | I'd start off with e46 front control arms. Rear subframe bushings and wheel bearings too! Any thing else goes to M Bumpers and mirrors. __________________ ***Derek*** ^^Lola^^ Pioneer radio/ Pioneer 6-Disk CD Changer/ JBL 601.1 Grand Touring Amplifier/ Bilstein Sport shocks/ Bilstein e36sedan springs/ Green LED Courtesy Lights Accident Counter: 3... | | | 06-17-2013, 03:43 AM | #21 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2008 Location: Bethlehem, PA Posts: 1,106 | | | | 08-22-2013, 02:52 AM | #22 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2008 Location: NC Posts: 3 | I would do a new radiator, water pump and thermostat. Get a whole new gasket kit or atleast the main gaskets I need. I would get some sensors for the motor. But I believe I would use majority of it on a new fuel tank since mine is pretty bad now. Basically get the parts to get my BMW back up and running again. Its been down for 3 years. Passed onto me from my Dad and I seriously want to keep this car as long as I can. So winning the $1000 would help ALOT! | | | 08-22-2013, 06:22 AM | #23 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: NJ Posts: 373 | This is an easy one. I need to replace everything on my newly acquired 318ti which I bought for way too much. I would do a full front suspension overhaul with control arms and tierods. Then I would do the valve cover gasket and power steering lines. Then I would move onto a new guibo in the driveline. After that, it would be new subframe bushings, trailing arm bushings, and diff bushing. I would finish everything with a brake rotor and pad replacement. That should easily cost $1000. If not, I would add in struts/shocks plus springs. Maybe a shirt to show my pride. __________________ | | | 09-03-2013, 09:37 PM | #25 | Member Join Date: Jun 2008 Location: Silver Spring, MD Posts: 69 | ***WINNER SELECTED*** Random entry method: # 4 Bonus Entry Random forum selected: m3post.com Random subforum selected: Suspension | Brakes | Chassis | Handling Random post # selected: Post # 12 Let's hear it for your winner - bavarian19 !!!!
