I'll have to mount some bigger tires on my style 5's, get it looking a tiny bit more meaty! | | | 01-08-2016, 12:11 AM | #18 | Member Join Date: Dec 2015 Location: Portland, OR Posts: 36 | Car looks awsome but does need more tire in my humble opinion. | | | 01-08-2016, 01:43 AM | #19 | Junior Member Join Date: Dec 2015 Location: Pa Posts: 16 | Quote: Originally Posted by PowerClubSport Car looks awsome but does need more tire in my humble opinion. | I do agree... I also think the 215/40 that most use will be to small. That's why I'm going to the Moda wheels instead of the current style 5. This particular one came off a sedan Fitment is perfect. I had to remove the rear wiper, but I have a cap coming to take care of that. I have to still get some hardware and paint the spoiler Last edited by Pasq318ti; 02-25-2016 at 11:02 PM. | | | 02-25-2016, 04:27 AM | #21 | Junior Member Join Date: Feb 2016 Location: Harrisonburg VA Posts: 14 | Nice! I just picked up pretty much the exact same car you started with. Same color, m sport, california top... need to figure out if this is the direction I want to go with it. | | | 02-25-2016, 04:57 AM | #22 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2013 Location: Virginia Posts: 104 | Beautiful car man! I'll update everyone on the project. Spoiler is on and I'm pretty happy with it. I'm debating if I should remove the "318ti" badge? Now for the fun stuff. Picked up a rebuilt DASC kit. I'm still in the middle of the install. I'm refreshing all the cooling pipes as well...also went to change the plugs and the spark plug sockets were filled with oil. I'm surprised it ran as well as it did.. So I'm at a standstill for parts. I'll also be going stage 2 using NickG's tune. It's amazing how much better the 318ti can look with a few little modifications and imagination. | | | 10-19-2016, 06:57 PM | #28 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Looking good, a lot better then the rake with the style 5's in the earlier pictures, wondering on the Nick G stg2 tune though, I have heard it has been hard to get a hold of him these days, did he reply to you quickly? __________________ ***328ti Build thread. *** Even more important: SUPPORT 318ti.org!
