i got a 3.2 w/ an lsd and i did have the same problem. i went from 17x8 to the e46 m3 stagered rims. i had to change my rear hubs to 90 e30 m3 hubs (-20mm) to accomidate the 18x9 rear rims. im also ridding on g-force tires (great in snow) and they are by far the best tires i have ever bought. they are pricy but worth it.
