I do know that the tie rod ends are worn and that the control arms need replacing. I just don't know if this is the reason for this tire sheering.

i would say thats probably your culprit but you won t know until you replace them, but if you do that and realign the wheels i bet that will sort everything out

Fix the suspension problems, re-align the car. There should be zero play left to right and top to bottom.

Have the tires inspected to make sure they are still safe to use. If those rips are just at the surface and not deep into the tire, have them flipped on the rim so that the meaty part of the tire is now the inside of the tire as long as the tire is not a directional or specifically labelled inside/outside. Rotate/balance and go on your way.

If they are directional/inside/outside labelled, you may just have to replace them once the suspension is fixed. With higher amounts of camber, you want tires that you can flip inside/out.

The alignment is F'd. You have a toe issue. Fix the worn out parts and get it aligned. Control arm bushings can mess with toe also, and wear quickly. I'd say those tires are done. Nearly have the steel hanging out of the edge.

Agreed, this is what I thought. I will order the Meyle hd control arm lots with the complete tie rods. Align and possibly order some Michelin pilot ss
