View Source beat's those "anti-theft" scripts

Anywho, I was under the impression that they weren't standard 1157 connectors? The difference being that 1157 has little pig tails at a 180* angle while the 7225 has the pig tails creating a 150* angle. However I'm probably wrong because I haven't gotten my hands on one yet

Because the whole setup isn't exactly "kosher". I'm sure if the plugs don't match up I can just cut it apart and get to soldering new plugs onto the bad boy, for $10 can't really go wrong to try it out. Just wish they had a DIY kit rather than preassembled. My only concerns is whether their "wide angled" beam LED light (100* Beam Angle) is sufficient enough for a well balanced amount of light in all/most directions for viewing and if there are any reflective options that could be applied to the PCB to further project any stray light. I'm thinking some kind of chrome paint that *crosses fingers* isn't conductive, masking the LED's and spraying it on. Otherwise there isn't much available, besides desoldering each individual LED, masking/painting/unmasking/resoldering each invidual LED.

Another thing that came to mind would be, that the 1 1/2" x 1 1/2" PCB is just too small, Requiring multiple boards. Requiring multiple boards would probably mean (correct me if I'm wrong) new resistors on the boards, and splicing the wires into one connector per socket.

They don't. Compact is a unique design.

If that is the pic of the pcb that you are talking about masking the LEDs and spraying with chrome paint. . . you have nothing to worry about. The LEDs are flush with the surface of the pcb. . . you'd have to be incredibly. . . talented . . . to cause damage with conductive paint (if chrome paint is actually even conductive).
