HOLY CRAP IT LOOKS INCREDIBLE! ok no more caps, well, budget76, you are the man! i did exactly what u said. i cleaned it and then put on six coats. light still comes through unlike what it said on the can.

Did you decide to wetsand and clear, or go with the dull finish like I did? Post up some pics

black candy paint, then clear coat over that.
