I was actually sending the springs out today on my own account, but i appreciate the envelope. I got a package today as well. My mileoneparts order arrived, new vanos gasket, thermostat seal, waterpump seal, differential gasket, front bumper strip(my old one cracked), new crank bolt(the book says to replace it??? whatever it was only 4 bucks) and... 5 minutes later with the help of a dremel tool and a razor blade: __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-06-2008, 11:41 PM | #365 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Nice goin with the badge. I think im going to leave mine blank or have a custom signature created on the hatch. Dustin and i are already on the replication, hopefully all goes simple and easy. Looking at the pieces, shouldnt be hard at all. I also found a diffuser that may be close to what we're lookin for. Look at the Caliber srt-4 diffuser. Im going to do something similar to it, though im going to extend the pieces up the center of the car to the front where im going to create an underpanel like the JTD unit. It shouldnt be too hard. Its would likely be a 5-7 piece kit that will cover the complete bottom of the car. It would diffuse air like lambos have. The driveshaft and exhaust wont be exposed either. There will be an opening and likely air dam for the differential cooling fins. What do you think of that idea? __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-06-2008, 11:55 PM | #366 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I'm in when the first GB comes along, heck I'll even drive out and pick it up locally! __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-06-2008, 11:58 PM | #367 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Heh. Im pretty sure itll be a simple process. The only thing that i think may be wrong is ive deleted a lot of things as well as a custom exhaust, so im not sure if that would affect how a kit would be put together. I think a front panel, two center panels, a rear panel, then diffuser panel is what will be created. Im gonna find this pic or vid, cant remember which, but its an e36 coupe with some kind of body kit that looks like it would work wonders for the ti rear. brb. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-07-2008, 12:09 AM | #368 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Nevermind, cant find it. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-07-2008, 12:36 AM | #369 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | I was thinking about something along the lines of this: __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-07-2008, 12:59 AM | #370 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Thats gonna look great with your widebody. I like the look of it but id have a couple more louvers to mine and may have a lower profile. Since mine is a DD and i dont have the money and time for widebody, the mtech rear is going to be my base point for everything. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 11-07-2008, 02:23 AM | #371 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | the spoiler looks good, is that the original ACS clear packing tape or did you have to buy it from a third party company? | | | 11-07-2008, 02:29 AM | #372 | NOBODY F's with the Jesus Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Ventura California Posts: 7,824 | Quote: Originally Posted by tiFreak the spoiler looks good, is that the original ACS clear packing tape or did you have to buy it from a third party company? | Lol, It's actually one of the few real ACS spoilers I've ever seen in person. It came off of VROOMCP's alaska blue Ti. Tony plans to replicate it and have one molded onto his Ti so it's actually part of the car. I think it's going to look very clean and unique. __________________ 4 MORE YEARS BABY!!! | | | 11-07-2008, 02:40 AM | #373 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | Quote: Originally Posted by cooljess76 Lol, It's actually one of the few real ACS spoilers I've ever seen in person.
