Here are some picts of my engine. If someone could tell me which plastic pieces I am missing and what their part numbers were, that would be great.
My car..

Not my car, but gives you an idea of which ones are obviously needed.

Perhaps one of these days I'll be able to post her up on here to show how clean she looks after her thorough bath. Thanks for the help in advance.

Hey there Erica, congrats on the purchase and welcome to the forum. As for plastics in the engine compartment, the first thing that comes to mind is the radiator cover which is part# 51718119045. You're also missing both radiator clips part# 17111723341 and radiator clip rubber grommets part# 64118391475.

The other parts in your drawing(2,3&4) came on '96 and later models, so you're not really missing them as your car never came with it. Anyway, the best place to order parts is from www.pelicanparts.com or www.getbmwparts.com Just cut and paste the part numbers on each site to compare prices. You can also look in the classified section on this forum. There's a couple people parting-out wrecked 318ti's and you might be able to save a few bucks. For future reference, a great website for looking up part#'s and diagrams for BMW's is www.realoem.com

Hope that helps, good luck!

get part number 13711247829 while you're at it, it looks like someone replaced your rubber intake boot with the wrong part

My 95 only has #1 (Radiator Cover)and #4 the Air box
(ours looks different just slightly.),
all the 95's I've seen dont have 2 & 3 cause Our intake
is on the drivers side in the radiator grill, so its basically
a factory CAI.
