Deadpan or L84THSKY- any updates on adding side impact bags? Is it possible to retrofit the black panel insert? Seems like there's a torx screw in the middle of the door panel to o though. I am curious to see how this turns out. __________________

I already called Eurodepot, they don't have any. I'm wondering if I can get those panels from another model E36, that is easier to find. Maybe a 325 or 328 late 90's car. I'd imagine the black panel inserts would be the same. Lucky for me my car was wired for side airbags, but never came with them. I had a build date just prior to them becoming a standard feature, so they just wired the car in anticipation of the change. I have all the parts to do the job, just not the black panels.
