When I look at it from the side it reminds me of a Mazda3 and other shots I see a Kia or something. One car that will not be on my want list. | | | 02-09-2012, 09:07 PM | #33 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 02-09-2012, 09:34 PM | #34 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Elizabeth City, NC Posts: 3,877 | Quote: Originally Posted by Crashaddict | Did you see this line? Most of them don't look quite right but there was one really nice one, M-sport in a very attractive shade of dark blue that had the right wheels on... and it looked really really good... but the others... ugh. Especially in bright colours and with chrome trim. The new 3ers, on the other hand, look great. | | | 07-22-2012, 07:50 AM | #37 | Member Join Date: May 2012 Location: Washington Posts: 46 | Quote: Originally Posted by BMW_Hatchback I haven't been too critical the amount of facelifts we've been seeing over the past decade... but I have to say that those headlights are just... yuck. | I agree fully, The headlights are weak. It looks alright in my book. But they could do alot better. | | | 09-06-2012, 08:03 PM | #38 | Member Join Date: Oct 2009 Location: Louisiana Posts: 56 | So my local BMW dealer say they have a couple of new X1 in stock here in the US of A. Looks a whole lot like a five door new-ish 1 series. Any body seen one/driven one in person? RAS | Please dont take offence if anyone owns a X1 cos its not ment to be, we have the X1 over here in the UK also the X3 and both of them are classed as a joke here most people her prefer the X5 only cos its more of a real 4x4 (as such ) well its more of one than the other two | | | 09-10-2012, 06:16 PM | #41 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Ft Defiance, AZ Posts: 686 | Quote: Originally Posted by ryszardsh So my local BMW dealer say they have a couple of new X1 in stock here in the US of A. RAS | I drove one when I was in Germany last summer, its really just like driving a car, it was nothing like my mom's X5 at home. I must say though, it was a Euro Sport model with a 6 speed and a 2 liter turbo diesel pumping out 250 HP and 350Ft/Lb (I think it may have been a prototype as I drove it at the BMW Welt/Factory/Museum in some fancy demo) and I absolutely loved it. __________________ 1999 BMW 318ti 2005 MINI Cooper S | | | 09-10-2012, 08:17 PM | #42 | Member Join Date: Sep 2009 Location: North London ENGLAND Posts: 57 | Most X1 & X3's are driven over here by what you guys call Soccer Moms and doing the school runs that cant drive X5's but want a 4x4 so they they can try and bully everyone on the road but the ones that can drive X5's are like Kamakazie Pilots OH P.S.
