pulled him over....it was the same clip from before...just slowed down...unless he 'broke down' or 'ran out of gas' in EXACTLY the same place he decided to slow down to do a u turn through the grass im just saying compare the 'breaking down' clip to the u turn clip...same little building off the road...same pattern of flashing brake lights...same everything = same clip i doubt it broke down for real they may never even got him...i think if they actually caught him they would have showed it and not slowed down the clip from before __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] | it was my understanding that they NEVER showed any video from "catching him." they basically say that it EVENTUALLY broke down and then they got him (but had no video of it to show). either way, they suck, the kid kicks ass, lol (except for stealing cars ) __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles current mods: bilstein sports, bavauto springs, e30 m3 LCABs, solid metal pulling over to the side making it look like it broke down....which it was really just a slow clip from before maybe they were just trying to have a recap clip! lol either way the cops got shcooled Yeah, I doubt that POS Camaro or whatever he was driving wasn't real because if he couldn't keep up with a 4 cyl M3 with his so called "350 hp" V8 Camaro then it was all lies! Same thing with the "breaking down part" with the same scenes from the time when he was making that U-turn. That 15 year old dominated those cops and showed them who's boss. __________________ Nick 1995 BMW 318iC. That m3 was fast as hell to get away from the squad. __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 12-15-2005, 05:49 AM | #42 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | hmm true that...if the cops car was so fast...how come it was behind the m3 the whole time.... im assuming its not that the car couldnt drive faster...its that they were just trying to trail him and keep him in eye contact and not necesarily overtake the m3 __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | 12-15-2005, 06:00 AM | #43 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2005 Location: Utah Posts: 100 | Does the E30 M3 have a govner? At one point in the video they say it hit 150 at one point, which is higher then what most cars are limited at. | | | 12-15-2005, 07:20 AM | #44 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: state college, pa Posts: 3,431 | Quote: Originally Posted by robcarync hmm true that...if the cops car was so fast...how come it was behind the m3 the whole time.... | In a police chase, there's not a lot you can do other than just tail the perp with your disco lights on. Only specially-trained officers are permitted to execute the bumper sweep, and only when situations permit. There was far too much traffic on that road to do it safely. While the Z28 Camaro has really nice 0-60 times, its 60-100 times aren't that impressive. IMO, that's what really counts. __________________ I scream, you scream, we all scream for ZOMBIES. | | | 12-15-2005, 05:38 PM | #45 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2003 Location: cary, nc Posts: 2,259 | yeah i know i remember about my law and justice class...and i was thinking the same thing just kinda seemed that the m3 was totally dominating the cop cars...it was so far ahead at times __________________ 1995 318ti Active Pioneer Speakers [] Aluminum Billet door locks [] ACS Pedals/Deadrest [] ACS Shift Knob / E-Brake Handle [] Clear Corners/Tails/Sides [] Sylvania Exterior Lighting [] Custom CAI [] Dinan Engine Chip [] Dinan Transmission Chip [] H&R Race Springs [] Tokico Illumina Shocks [] BMW X-Brace [] Relocated Lighter Mod [] Custom iPod Mod http://www.cardomain.com/id/robcarync | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
