I suspect there is actually too much (40+psi) fuel getting into the combustion chamber so i gotta get me a nifty adjustable fuel pressure regulator, I hope that works. The apexi is in, I messed around with the LED tail lights and sprayed my brake rotors with primer today. I might get a start installing the cluster this weekend depending on my schedule __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 10-02-2013, 12:56 AM | #484 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Oh, I also deleted the airpump. Which saves me about ten pounds under the hood and a negligible amount of parasitic power loss __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 10-10-2013, 07:55 AM | #485 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Just updated myself on the progress, good stuff, but still so close yet so far, get that thing on the road! __________________ ***328ti Build thread. *** Even more important: SUPPORT 318ti.org! On the way out, my friend hit a small wall and cracked one of the rims on his friends $40k trailer. We put on the spare and it rubbed on the frame horribly, we then proceed to the nearest tire shop, get a new tire on the spare because we thought it was bloated from dryrot and that was causing the rubbing....nope bent axle on a custom enclosed 24 foot trailer, the makers of which are no longer in business. We call a local trailer guy, bring the trailer to his shop one wheel down at about 15 mph at which point he puts washers on the lugbolts to gain clearance from the frame(something I suggested to the tire shop but they refused to do) we then begin the 40 mile journey back to my house and hit pretty heavy traffic. After about an hour and a half, we get off the exit and by the grace of god, the shop I picked it up from was open about an hour later than usual, we dropped it off and I went home to take a shower. So for now, I am going to be working on other aspects of the car, and wait for january, perhaps get it painted __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 10-24-2013, 03:22 AM | #488 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Suckage! You know when the these months pass by and you get the 313ti running and get to drive it for the years after that you probably won't care/remember/mind whats happening now, and there is nothing wrong with taking a little time off to refocus! That being said, still can't wait to see the thing running! __________________ ***328ti Build thread. *** Even more important: SUPPORT 318ti.org! CLICK THE LINK ABOVE! It should be in primer by December. Also I got A straight harness for the ecu that has the plug I've been missing, so I have a plan of action for when it gets back __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 11-26-2013, 11:15 PM | #490 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | Gettin there __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 02-24-2014, 06:42 PM | #491 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2011 Location: SoFla Posts: 482 | __________________ Eurotary 313ti-Rx coming soon.....soon is a relative term | | | 02-24-2014, 06:51 PM | #492 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2007 Location: Monterey, CA Posts: 770 | Excellent, what ended up being the problem with it? | | | 02-24-2014, 10:42 PM | #493 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | Quote: Originally Posted by dahamler Excellent, what ended up being the problem with it? | ^^^ This.
