Machine shop called, 2 rods were slightly bent. So I got a new set of forged H beam rods, only 6 grams heavier than stock m42 rods. They are balancing the whole rotating assembly including flywheel and clutch. Rod set was pretty much all balance from the supplier so that's good. Should be getting pistons back from getting deeper groves for the boosted rings next week and it should be done pretty soon hopefully. __________________ 5/96 318TI Sport BIG TURBO Last edited by Jean H.318TI; 02-27-2019 at 03:29 AM. | | | 02-27-2019, 03:06 AM | #530 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2010 Location: Ottawa Posts: 579 | Can't wait to work with you on the tuning. Looks like yours handles like mine. I just got the cheap e bay angle kit( like 40$). I'll let you know how it goes. Next drift night is the 31st, I also took a peice of 7/8 pipe and bent it to make a cheap drift E brake. It actually works pretty well as long as the pads are adjusted correctly. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
