Some people are making this more work than is necessary. Or I'll just pick the ones I want. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-16-2007, 01:28 AM | #47 | Z3 Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Usa Posts: 660 | That is a great idea.. Just pick 12 of your choice and finish with it. I think this way would be fair for everyone __________________ '96 BMW 318ti Hellrod 5SPD - SOLD '04 BMW X3 2.5L Alpine White PRM PKG Automatic/Steptronic PRM PKG - SOLD '01 BMW M3 6SPD Imola Red Luxury PKG '11 BMW X5 xdrive35d - 3.0L Twin-Turbo Diesel - The Ultimate Oil Burner | | | 10-23-2007, 12:37 AM | #53 | Member Join Date: Oct 2007 Location: Columbia MO Posts: 38 | The Photoshopped and tricked out cars are great and I enjoy all of them but there is nothing wrong with a nice bone stock TI also That IS where we all started correct ???? | | | 10-23-2007, 09:28 PM | #54 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Yorkshire Posts: 151 | Sounds fair enough to me.. __________________ E36/5 '95 318ti Auto. Or allow voting by members with 200+ posts only, it could promote more participation. Set the criteria in advance - decide if it's going to be about the members cars, or based on strong visuals - & stick to it. | | | 10-25-2007, 02:15 AM | #56 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | i agree with bmvw too...set the criteria in advance if that is what's needed. __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 10-25-2007, 02:17 AM | #57 | doesn't care about you. I'm impressed that a couple people managed to ruin the calendar this year. Nice work! __________________ '99 Dinan M3 | | | 10-25-2007, 02:19 AM | #58 | Senior Member Join Date: Jun 2003 Location: Greenville, SC Posts: 9,356 | Quote: Originally Posted by bmvw My recommendation would be to get a committee of mods & admins to pick the shots. Now one member's car is in repeated different photos with help from his friends bumping up the ratings. Then some others purposely bringing down the ratings. The whole spirit of the calendar was lost this year. Next year more rules. 1 car and I'll create a poll for people to pick multiple entries. I'm going to select 12 or 13 and that's it. I'll base it on the number of votes and ratings pictures had, then use my own judgment. __________________ ...steven BMW CCA #146825 1996 BMW 328ti • 2003 MINI Cooper S • 2016 M235i www.bmwcca.org | | | 10-25-2007, 02:35 AM | #59 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: LA, Bellflower, CA Posts: 3,613 | yeah. sry for those who seemed to bitch too much like lil girls in high school. its a shame how the whole thing just got out of hand. well i persume that we all as a majority trust ur judgement steven. thanks. | | | 10-25-2007, 03:03 AM | #60 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2007 Location: Seattle, WA Posts: 402 | Quote: Originally Posted by 1996 328ti I'm going to select 12 or 13 and that's it. | Perfect. I feel sorry that you had to deal with bullsh!t, Steven. People that did stack votes should be banned from voting in the future. Period. That is just plain crappy, and they knew it. They should be ashamed, but you know they aren't. I also agree with no group photos, since it encourages group voting. __________________ 1997 332ti - Don't even ask. 2006 330i - ZPP/ZSP/ZCW/6sp/Nav/BT/H&R Sport 2011 E92 M3 | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
