It has already been lightened but I am having the m42 starter ring swapped over and it needs resurfacing. I also need to order the clutch and proper throwout bearing. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-06-2014, 10:54 AM | #662 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Came home from a great vacation this past weekend and this picture was texted to me Everything is sprayed besides the bay. Once they spray that they just need to wet sand and buff, as well as rehanging the doors, hatch, and hood. They also need to install the new rubber trims around the exterior (sun roof, rear window, etc) This package was also at the door for me With that I will need to source a 19mm master from a Porsche 944 turbo or an e21. I am also trying to figure out what brake fluid reservoirs to run and really like these but need to dig more to see what they are from Other than that my z3 rack should be arriving today as long as I am home when the FedEx truck arrives=) I need to order new banjo bolts for mounting my power steering delete. Does anyone know a good place to get them from? __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-06-2014, 05:32 PM | #663 | Member Join Date: Aug 2010 Location: Denver, Co Posts: 49 | Looks like its coming together. I'm excited to see it done. Keeping the windows fishbowl? I vote yes to show off the interior. Two semi-bad things tho, if I were a cop I'd pull you over just to see what type of car it is, and SUVs/trucks will barely see you. Those are two minor annoyances tho. | | | 10-06-2014, 05:40 PM | #664 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | Quote: Originally Posted by Monkfish Looks like its coming together. I love the look on black cars, especially compacts. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-07-2014, 01:48 AM | #665 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2013 Location: Germany Posts: 375 | WOW!!! __________________ Want car parts? I have been thinking of a single mass for a long time and did a decent amount of research into it, but the m20 swap seems always to missing some details. Also BUMP! Lucky I'm retired or I would have been late for work this morning. Fun to see the progression as well as the other people offering their help and support. After I read through your thread I registered just to comment on your build. I think I'll stay for awhile. Do not have a Ti yet. Found this website as I was looking for a local one for sale. You're close to completion. I will be following. Amazing work Earl!! LouM... BTW... Are you going to soundproof the cabin? | | | 10-30-2014, 06:04 PM | #672 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | That means a lot. Thank you=) As for the cabin, I haven't removed any of the factory sound proofing inside so for now I will leave it as is. Down the line I will probably remove the factory "tar" deadening and put down something better. __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 10-30-2014, 10:16 PM | #673 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: SW Florida Posts: 4,275 | Checking it out Earl. The engine bay looks fantastic...mission accomplished! __________________ Sean 1995 Active | | | 11-07-2014, 06:33 PM | #674 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2012 Location: West Bend, Wisconsin Posts: 1,055 | My Chasebays overflow arrived on Saturday. Didn't get a chance to take pictures of it until last night I just need to source a radiator with an attached filler neck that will fit properly. I can't wait to get the car back and start working on it again=) __________________ 95 318ti & 96 318ti Quote: Originally Posted by eurohb Im Jelly.. enough said. | Follow me on instagram: earlmeyeriii | | | 11-16-2014, 02:44 AM | #675 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2011 Location: SoCal Posts: 702 | MOOORREEEE~!
