If you guys know what Initial D is, its 10 years old and its about a kid who can drift...
ehh..I wasn't really a fan of the live action one because they changed the story around...
I was way into the game too...haha
From the previews of Tokyo Drift...
It seems like Initial D is more realistic even though it's animated lol!

About Coilovers, I think for Ground Control you can make them to your specs.
My friend has a Miata and he bought Ohlins coilovers, those are super expensive but you can customize them for your car.

I dont think that they make coilovers for the ti but buddy club can make custom coilovers to your needs. Im not sure if they can make them for the ti but its worth looking into.

It doesn't need park distance control, and hates decadence. It is musclepacked, yet lightly wound. It lets you feel the asphalt and get you going with the smallest touch of the pedal. It provokes, seduces, and demands to be driven hard. It looks, sounds, and smells like performance.

Im not sure if anyone here watches the VOD cars podcast but a while back they did a drift special and the opening scene was a early 90's 5 series (I dont know 5 series generation codes) drifting on a highway ramp. It was one of the coolest BMW videos Ive ever seen. You should all go and download it now since its free.

I guess a 3 day ban wasn't enough to teach you to keep your mouth shut.
It seems you have no other need for this forum other than to run your trap off topic.

,,,I posted this up on the last page. They do make coil-overs for the ti. I for one have them installed. TC Kline has the nicest for track use. I have KW because they are height, rebound, and bump adjustable. Ground Control, from what I have seen, will give you bad customer service, a long lead time, and a pretty good product.

Bearing in mind I also ride motorcycles, I think Ohlins is very, very overrated. It's more the adjustability and proper setup that makes these suspension systems work. There is something to be said about the Scandanavian companies though. I'm not sure why.

That being said, anybody can make a custom set for you. I'm not familiar with the car companies other than Penske, and they do amazing work.

Drifting requires a lot of power and torque. Both of those 9 out of 10 ti's don't have. Some of the better cars for this sport are sr20 swapped 240's and the rwd corolla's. I am not saying it can't be done, but you had better have two spare tires on the back, on slick pavement after it rains, or have a M engine swap. Drifting on ice is fun, but I like autox better than drifting therefore a bit of understeer for the win, oversteer for last place.....lol
