Anyone have any importing experience/experience with volume shipments from China/Customs experience? I will probably need some advice since this is the first time I've had something delivered directly to port rather than to my house. Should arrive Oct 10, no idea when I will be able to pick them up due to customs and stuff. I have 3 not spoken for. Freight shipping might be expensive to CA, so it might make more sense to send 3 to CA and have the buyers meet up there to save money. | | | 10-02-2009, 06:37 PM | #62 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | pnosker, are you counting me in on this or were there no more? | | | 10-02-2009, 11:52 PM | #63 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | I am only counting the people who paid me (one) and me. So nobody else besides me and Isis are included in my total. | | | 10-03-2009, 12:05 AM | #64 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | ok | | | 10-03-2009, 12:06 AM | #65 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | what type of hoods are they? oem? | | | 10-03-2009, 02:42 AM | #66 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | OEM type hoods | | | 10-03-2009, 02:48 AM | #67 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | hmmm.... personally im a fan of seibon carbon with the cutouts. Anyway, let me know soon if you want one. Otherwise I'll stick them on eBay and make a good profit. | | | 10-03-2009, 04:04 AM | #70 | Senior Member Join Date: Apr 2007 Location: Santa Maria, CA Posts: 277 | crap your right.... ahh!!! how much for it and shipping it to CA-94583? | | | 10-03-2009, 04:59 AM | #71 | Senior Member Join Date: Aug 2006 Location: Central NJ Posts: 2,440 | No idea... they come on the 10th and I might not be able to pick them up till after. Apparently, there's a warehouse fee... which I guess I should have anticipated. Anyway, the fee is $316 itself. Anyway, I have to raise the price to $480 per hood. Sorry guys. Still like $70 cheaper than elsewhere. I am going to try to pick them up this upcoming week. Hopefully, if customs/everything else goes well, I'll have them at my house this week. | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
