Funny, the seats didn't look that dirty, but after the cleaning they are a shade lighter than they were. Finished them off Armour AAll original. Seats look and feel better now. Also made some progress hanging some of the parts for my cruise control retro fit. I've spent about $350 on the parts, the major pieces from Bavarian Auto Recyclers and the new wiring harness and various bits from the local BMW dealership. | | | 06-13-2011, 05:52 AM | #1457 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2010 Location: Riverside ,So-Cal Posts: 725 | Found a 318i that was getting part out in Escondido got the hood, nose panel, and depo headlights and fogs for $220 __________________ EURO FRESH | | | 06-14-2011, 12:21 AM | #1458 | Senior Member Join Date: Sep 2007 Location: asdfasdf Posts: 10,002 | pulled the door panels out so I could repair them, then dropped my car off at the body shop next time you guys see it, it's going to look completely different | | | 06-14-2011, 12:40 AM | #1459 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Hacked the stomung off and remounted it, a bit further forward, and fixed the one hanger. Much better now. It did great on the trip to Ohio over the weekend. __________________ No more ti. | | | 06-14-2011, 12:58 AM | #1460 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2010 Location: Potomac Falls VA DMV Posts: 1,794 | School just got out, so took a road trip to Bethany beach/ ocean city and met up with some friends. Did a well needed oil change before I left. The car was flawless. Didn't really go below 100 mph for a good amount of the way. Got the ti up to 127. Atleast that's what the speedo said. Haha. Everything felt so stable with the coils and polyurethane bushings. Sweet. I'm going back to parking on the street, it's free and I've never had damage like that on the DC streets. So much for having a 20 foot car. Even with a buff, it's gonna be very visible, it's really bad. To the primer and dented at the doorjamb. No note, no nothing. Except for a nice big dent. __________________ No more ti. | | | 06-15-2011, 02:33 AM | #1467 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Detroit Posts: 164 | Quote: Originally Posted by familytruckster In an F'ing parking garage, in a full size parking space that I'm paying 260 bucks a month for. The garage manager could find out if the person that was in the adjacent spot came into the garage while your vehicle was parked there. Possible justice? | | | 06-15-2011, 02:48 AM | #1468 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: MD/PA/DC Posts: 1,629 | Quote: Originally Posted by DataTraveler Are the spots assigned in the garage? Garage people could care less. The car that I parked next to when I arrived is a car I've seen before. Not surprisingly did not see it today. __________________ No more ti. | | | 06-15-2011, 02:53 AM | #1469 | Senior Member Join Date: Mar 2009 Location: Detroit Posts: 164 | Fail. Look for that car in the garage. Look for the damage. I'd obsess about it. | | | 06-15-2011, 04:29 AM | #1470 | Senior Member Join Date: Dec 2010 Location: Wichita Falls, Texas Posts: 1,364 | Quote: Originally Posted by slow_ti School just got out, so took a road trip to Bethany beach/ ocean city and met up with some friends.
