We have a '95 Active with a center console with two open trays. To keep family harmony I've been asked to find a cupholder solution. In a couple posts about arm rests I've seen some people have a center console with cup holders and a change holder built in. Does anyone have the part number for this type of console? I've tried looking at the online ETK but I only see the plain console. The dealer couldn't find anything either. Thanks for any help, Peter Fanning '95 318ti '98 M3/4 '03 530i | | | 07-18-2005, 08:45 PM | #2 | TRETEN IRGENDEINES ESELS Join Date: Aug 2004 Location: Rhode Island Posts: 3,687 | Well my 98 has 2 cup holders, change holder and a spare compartment in the back. I bought a used Leatherz armrest for my car. These aren't the best shots of it but this is what i got. I'm not sure if this helps. http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...500&ppuser=912 http://www.318ti.org/gallery/showpho...500&ppuser=912 __________________ 98 Avus Blue 318 ti Active clear outs all around, stealth turning signals, blue led interior lights, 35% tinted windows,K&N air filter, 12" Kenwood Sub, MTX Thunder Amp,Alpine cd changer, Leatherz Armrest,ACS Pedals/Handbrake/FloorMats & Vitesse Tuning Carbon Fiber B-Pillars/CF Spark Plug Cover, New 16" MSW Typer 14 Rims on Goodyear Triple Treds www.myspace.com/avusblueti | | | 07-19-2005, 12:34 AM | #3 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 11 | That's the type of part I'm looking for but neither I or the dealer can find a part number. I saw that cupholder on the ETK but it looks just like the modular console in our M3. Any chance you verified the part number with the cupholder in your car? I appreciate the help since my wife will appreciate the cupholder. | | | 07-19-2005, 04:05 AM | #9 | Senior Member Join Date: Nov 2003 Location: Walnut Creek, CA Posts: 642 | Quote: Originally Posted by mickd Your link is info on the armrest, pfanning is looking for a cupholder solution. But the piece you see in my pics is what came with the car when I bought it new. Although the picture in the previous link to realoem.com is for a regular e36, the part number is probably correct and it will look like the pics I have. __________________ '95 330ti CS w/sr delete, S50USB30, cams, 24# inj, Conforti SW, Euro HFM, Samco Silicone Intake Boot, BBTB, Euro Oil Cooler, JTD CAI Duct, RE DMS exhaust, RE Tranny mounts, CF Valve Cover, LTW flywheel/Kevlar sprung hub clutch, RE SSK, 3.46 Finned LSD (M6) , M3 tranny, Brembos, RE Wheel Studs, SS brake/clutch lines, CF interior, Rear Headrest retrofit, Tilt Steering retrofit, 13.5 lb DynaBatt in rear, LED interior/footwell lights, ZKW HID, Headlight Aim Control, Rear fog light w/cluster indicator, CF 3 Aux gauge pod, BMW Traffic Pro/Alpine MP3-CD Changer, Staggered LTW wheels, '95 M3 steering rack, VIS CF Hood, M3 LTW Strut Bar, TCK SA coilovers, Red LTW Motorsport Seatbelts, OEM Fire Extinguisher, Z8 Starter button, Auto dim rear view mirror w/ Homelink/Compass, PDC, Rear Sun Shade, Euro Gauge Cluster w/oil temp/shift light , Headlight Washers, "Motorsport" Door Handles, CF Grills, French ZKW Fogs, Euro dash bins, Power Lumbar Support is next, Coming e39 M5 interior light, Bimmer Magazine 8/2007 | | | 07-19-2005, 04:48 AM | #10 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Quote: Originally Posted by pfanning Thanks mickd. I appreciate the help since my wife will appreciate the cupholder. | After looking at the RealOEM pic again, somthing didn't look quite right. The cupholder console in my car since new has the coin holders at the front, 2 cuphoders, and a storage section to the rear. Was wondering if the one on RealOEM replaced that original one, but the console section beneath it doesn't look the same either. If anyone has the cupholder out of their car, check the number. If no one posts it, I'll pull mine out tomorrow, it comes off with 1 screw. | | | 07-19-2005, 05:27 AM | #11 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Found a complete ti center console on ebay, this is the type of cupholder you need http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/BMW-9...QQcmdZViewItem Just wanted to give you a reference, not implying you should buy it. You could wait for the cupholder on ebay, probably could pick it up for 10 bucks. | | | 07-19-2005, 10:07 PM | #12 | Junior Member Join Date: Jul 2005 Posts: 11 | Mickd, thanks for the ebay reference. The console tray with cupholders and coin tray is exactly what I'm looking for. It just pops into the plain console. If you could grab a part number off your car it would be excellent. | | | 07-19-2005, 10:10 PM | #13 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2004 Location: Delafield, WI Posts: 471 | Cupholder Center Console Part # Peter, I took out the cupholder console. For future reference your part number matches the 'accessory' part number from the ETK, it just looks completely different. | | | 07-19-2005, 10:22 PM | #15 | Junior Member Join Date: Jan 2005 Location: GA-USA Posts: 14 | Here's the console cupholder insert part number 82 11 1 469 074 __________________ '99 318 ti Titan Silver--no mods...yet '91 M5 Jet Black | | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
