Default Clutch Shudder when cold

Got a problem with wicked clutch shudder when the vehicle is first driven each morning. The problem clears up after I arrive to work. If the vehicle has sat for a few weeks, its even worse.

No records of clutch replacement. Car has 220k miles.

Mine does this occasionally if I let the car sit for a week. Mine has ~204k on it.

The first thing I thought is the rear main seal is weeping a bit and sitting for a week is enough oil to cause the shudder. Once the clutch gets hot, it burns the oil off and its back to normal.

However, my clutch is on the way out so it might be a symptom of worn parts too.

Yep, my car has the same symptoms, but it happens everyday. If the car sits for a week or two unused, the shuddering is violent. Then it goes back to normal after it warms up!
