» Site Navigation | | » Recent Threads | | | | | | 05-20-2006, 07:05 PM | #1 | Member Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Antelope Valley, CA Posts: 55 | BIG idel problem. need help quick!!! i was driving around all morning with no problems. i came homw and parked in my driveway. i turned off my car nad started it back up maybe 10mins later. the car jumped up to around 1500 rpm and them stalled out!! i tried it again and it didnt evenpass 1000 rpm and it stalled out! i finally got it to start by revving it up right after i started it. i held it at around 1500 rpma nd let off the gas... Stalled... no questions. i think that it might be the idel control valve... or jackass put somehting in my gastank (i was parked at the hockey rinks for my game this morning... teensa all around) now i have a 95' ti (m42) if this might help at all... thank you... | | | 05-20-2006, 08:08 PM | #2 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: Berlin, Germany Posts: 258 | Did the check engine light come on?
