You wont have to worry about not having the Ring. In that preview posted, there were a couple shots of cars on the ring.

Man!.... You obviously have not played Forza!... It is BY FAR!... 300% Better in Every way in terms of PHysics, Gameplay, Customization, and Tuning... I was a GT FAN for life, that was until I played Forza 1... You should try it... I'm pretty sure GT5 will be cool as hell, but it won't be as good as Forza that I can guarantee it... I will most likely buy a PS3 just to play it though...cause I loves me some MOTORSPORTS!.... But Forza is by far the best Racing Sim out there for any console... give it a try and you'll see!... BTW I'm writing this for the airport terminal in Miami!...

I have tried one game on my buddy's 360... not sure what the name was but it had a 91 Gti 16V (with damage) - which was insane since it is one of my favorite cars (& my next project ).

I loved it & was great fun with great graphics! No doubt about it... but I did find it a bit arcady, I have to admit.

Not sure if it is the same game, though...

Yeah, Forza 2 has a Mk2 GTI 16v, great car in the game and in real life, I would love to own one.

Anyway, some more eye candy...

HaHa.. buddy, I'm almost there. LOL Nice set up...

I got a 60 inch plasma Pioneer Elite + Logitech Driving Force GT wheel.. only problem is if I put a driving chair in my living room, my wife would have a connniption! LOL

So instead, I seat on the floor & attach the wheel to the coffee table (ghetto, I know)... my ass really hurts after an hour or so of sitting on the floor!

Here's a better option for you then....
www.fanatec.com
The wheel stand is compatible with other brand wheels I believe.
BTW
My girl has her "living room" and I have my "movie/play room"...

Forza 3 has confirmed the M1!!! So awesome. It would be perfect if the Z3 Mcoupe was in the game, imo. (and the ti too...)

are they going to have truck and SUV races? I don't know if the X5 can really hang with a bunch of sports cars

hopefully they'll stick the X6M in there, I want to crash it into a wall

Yup, SUVs are in the game. I don't think I'll be able to take the SUVs seriously but now that there are going to be rollovers it should be fun to push one to the max.

I swear I read somewhere that they did away with the multi-screen setup in Forza 3. I'm sure it was a little used feature, but it was awesome (I briefly ran a dual-screen setup with Forza 1 after the 360 came out). How may hardcore gamers are there that can afford three screens, Xbox 360's, and copies of the game, plus a wheel? Probably not many.
