If you look at the manifold, on the left side of the picture, there is a runner where the number 1 (or 4) cylinder is welded onto. Now where does that runner goto? There is no wastegate flange, so what is the mystery pipe for? Maybe i am just a retard, but i think it looks like junk to me. | | | 09-15-2007, 04:48 AM | #5 | Senior Member Join Date: May 2006 Location: 43609 Posts: 3,425 | Hmm, ok. __________________ 1995 Hellrot Clubsport 318ti -Gone 1996 Schwartz II Sport 357ti - 5.7L V8 LS1/6 1997 Moregrun Metallic 318ti - Gone 1998 Schwartz II sport 318ti - M50TUB25/5 | | | 09-15-2007, 07:45 AM | #6 | Senior Member Join Date: Feb 2007 Location: Oklahoma Posts: 179 | Probably on the other side. | | | 09-15-2007, 12:02 PM | #7 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | Ha that pipe is there for a good reason. looks like its for the 4 cylinder. Also looks like this is for a 6 cylinder just cut up and has a new 4 cylinder plate on it. I know its not a DASC but what makes it junk? There are 4 pipes and a place to put the turbo seems like it would do the job to me. __________________ 99 black ti sport | | | 09-15-2007, 12:08 PM | #8 | Senior Member Join Date: Jul 2007 Location: Toledo, OHIO Posts: 332 | Also i was wrong. if you are talking about the pipe behind the main pipe it is just a split off pipe for the second cylinder or third. just looks like they did no want to run 1 pipe to all 4 cylinders. __________________ 99 black ti sport | | | | Currently Active Users Viewing This Thread: 1 (0 members and 1 guests) | | Posting Rules | You may not post new threads You may not post replies You may not post attachments You may not edit your posts HTML code is Off | | | |
