I had been looking for some reasonably priced E36 M3 4dr replica mirrors for our ti's. Found a great deal, from the pictures they appear to be the same as all the other replicas I found on the web, I believe most have the same manufacturer. They usually go for around $100 for the powered/heated ones. Well, I think I found a deal, $58.95 each. I'm going to get them and paint them myself. be interesting to compare them to the mirrors i'm getting from Panzer_M. since his are cosmos black, i'm just going to bolt them on, shouldn't look too ghastly since there are other black accents on the car. better than no mirror, right? lol __________________ 1996 318ti, California package, 267k miles

I'm hoping they're OK, not expecting BMW quality but once they're painted maybe they'll look the same. A sad loss, Panzer M's euro 318ti. Would be hard to start parting a car out so soon after a crash. All those bits add up, good start to the e30. If we visit Rausch(sp?) Performance I'll bring the mirrors along. I was hoping you got the mirrors even though I wanted 'em. You got me beat, I did 180's twice on dry pavement. It must have felt like crack the whip with the trailer. Got the mirrors yesterday, whoever delivered them must not have rang the doorbell, found them at my door step on my way off to work this morning. I had to open the package and check them out. The quality is really good, they are much heavier than I expected. Can you believe it, inside the box they came in was a fleece bag for the mirrors. I am usually not fond of anything that's replica BMW, but for this kind of savings in a quality piece, I don't mind. Iwill probably connect them to verify the motor function before I paint them. Should be getting the paint, 12 oz aerosol matching Jet Black, and clear with the flex additive for plastic parts today. I inquired about the flex additive and PaintScratch said to use it. I just test fitted the M3 replica mirrors, I can confirm the M3 4dr sedan mirrors are the ones to get. The location of the 3 mounting holes are correct. The electrical connections plug right in the factory connectors, and the 4 wires on the powered/heated mirrors have the same colored wires as the factory ones (brown, white, blue, black). Verified the motor operation of the mirrors too. You won't need to remove both inside trim covers to check the motor drive, just plug either mirror in on one side. The mirrors from Auto and Parts Pro are first class, after painting the install will be a snap.
